24th October 2008 Windsurfing: Aberdyfi Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 15-25 knts Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 10C Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: With my kit still packed from yesterday seemed rude not to go out again so just threw my bigger board in this time. Arrived before 10.00am and the wind was just hovering around the 15-20 knots range and it was low tide so went for the Eagle and 6.4m to give some power when the tide came in and as the wind was forecast to drop off a bit. Got planing straight from the off and stayed that way until 2pm when my hands started bleeding ;-) Thought about changing down to a 5.7m and wave board at one point but hung on incase it dropped off a bit. Great session loads of gybes mostly dry but still need to work on timing and getting more speed out of the exit. Could do with a rest now although a sneaky session on Sunday might be good :-) |
